Instructions For Use:

Hot Brew:

  1. Combine 8 oz boiling water with 2 tsp tea blend.

  2. Cover and steep for 5-20 minutes.

  3. Strain and enjoy.

Cold Brew:

  1. Combine 1 tbsp of the tea blend with 2 cups boiling water in a Mason jar.

  2. Allow it to cool and then refrigerate for 2-8 hours or overnight.

  3. Strain and enjoy.

Known or reported benefits

  • Mullein- breaks up mucus, and has anti-inflammatory properties that may help with sore throat and airway inflammation. It also is reported to have antiviral, antibacterial, and antioxidant properties.

  • Stinging Nettle- has anti-inflammatory properties. The leaves may help with allergies, especially if taken when symptoms first appear. Reported to have antibacterial properties.

  • Astragalus Root- powerful immune building, antiviral, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant-rich.

  • Peppermint- antimicrobial properties and menthol help sinus symptoms, and rosmarinic acid reduces histamine reaction helping to calm allergy symptoms.

  • Ginger- anti-inflammatory. May also help aid in cold and flu prevention.

Precautions or Contraindications

  • Not recommended for nursing or pregnant women. Avoid if you take immunosuppressant drugs. Avoid if you take blood thinners.
